Feeding Guidelines
SPORTMIX® Wholesomes™ Chicken Meal & Rice Formula may be fed dry or moistened according to your cat’s preference. If moist food is preferred, mix 3 parts SPORTMIX® Wholesomes™ Chicken Meal & Rice with 1 part water, milk or broth. Use the chart as a guide. One feeding per day is acceptable, however, 2 feedings each of one half the daily requirement is recommended. If fed moistened, feed only the amount that your cat will consume readily. Lactating cats may consume up to 3 times as much food as adult cats. Kittens can be fed SPORTMIX® Wholesomes™ Chicken Meal & Rice moistened with milk or water, 4 times a day at 3 to 4 weeks of age in amounts that the kitten will consume in 10 minutes. At 4 months of age, the young cat may be fed as an adult. Remember, these amounts are averages and will vary depending upon the breed, size and age of your cat. Have clean, fresh water available at all times. For your pet’s best health, see your veterinarian regularly.
