Overview:
· Opticorn is a smooth sterile ophthalmic ointment containing vitamin A. Retinolum or vitamin A is involved in the maintenance of the corneal epithelium.
· helps to relieve dryness or irritation of the eye.
· can be combined with topical antimicrobial products. o clean eye, eyelid and the area around the eye.
FORMULA :
Retinolum (vitamin A) 30.000U.I.-Vaseline.-Paraffin. Liquid q.s. ad 1g
USE :
for ophthalmic use only. Apply a small amount (particle size of a corn grain) directly into the lower conjunctival sac - 2 to 3 times daily. To avoid contamination of the product do not touch the tip of the tube to any surface (eye or eyelash).
CONTRA-INDICATIONS :
known hypersensitivity to one of the compounds. The following adverse reactions may be observed: redness, oedema or itching.
STORAGE :
Store at room temperature (15-25°C). Unused ointment should be discarded after 30 days.
