Thyroxine (Levothyroxine Sodium) 200mcg is a prescription thyroid hormone replacement medication primarily used to manage hypothyroidism in dogs. It supplements deficient thyroid hormone levels to restore normal metabolism, weight management, skin/coat health, and energy levels.
(Note: Hypothyroidism is rare in cats and typically only occurs secondary to hyperthyroidism treatments).
