Doxycycline is an advanced analogue of the tetracycline family of antibiotics with Broad-Spectrum activity against Gram-Positive and Gram-Negative bacteria including Penicillinase -producers and Anaerobes as well as Rickettsia, Chlamydia and Mycoplasma
