Overview
Fucithalmic® Viscous Eye Drops is a sterile ophthalmic preparation containing fusidic acid, designed for the treatment of bacterial eye infections in both humans and animals. Uses / Indications
- Fucithalmic® is indicated for:
- Treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis (especially caused by Staphylococcus aureus)
- Management of superficial ocular infections responsive to fusidic acid
- Veterinary use under prescription for canine and feline eye infections
Feeding Instructions / Dosage
- Administer one drop into the affected eye twice daily

Possible Side Effects
- Mild transient stinging or burning sensation
- Blurred vision immediately after application
- Rare allergic reactions (e.g. swelling, itching, redness)
- Hypersensitivity to fusidic acid or any excipients
Drug & Food Interactions
- No known food interactions
- Should not be used concurrently with other topical ophthalmic antibiotics unless advised by a healthcare professional
- Avoid use with contact lenses during treatment
Precautions
- For external ophthalmic use only
- Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface to avoid contamination
- Discontinue use if irritation or allergic reaction occurs
- Store below 25°C and keep out of reach of children
- Use within 28 days of opening
