Mitex ear drops, 20 ml (Miconazole nitrate, Prednisolone acetate, Polymyxin B sulfate)
Mitex (Mitex) suspension, 20 ml – is a complex veterinary drug for the treatment of otitis media in cats and dogs. Mitex drops are a triple defense against bacteria, yeast, mites and inflammatory symptoms.
Product Benefits
- Miconazole: proven to be synergistic with Polymyxin B against gram-positive bacteria such as staphylococcus aureus. Excellent activity against Malassezia and broad spectrum antifungal.
- Ear mites: Mitex is recommended for the treatment of otodectes cynotis.
- For hygienic use in the ear. Convenient 20ml bottle fits all sizes of dogs and cats.
- Prednisolone: Effectively reduces signs of inflammation such as erythema, swelling and pain, as well as itching.
- Polymyxin B: excellent activity against most gram-negative bacteria such as Pseudomonas.
- Easy to dose.
- Slim nozzle for easy application in the external ear canal.
- Approved for the treatment of localized skin infections.
- 20 ml is the optimal amount for one treatment cycle.
Composition
- Miconazole nitrate 23.0 mg / ml (equivalent to 19.98 mg miconazole)
- Prednisolone acetate 5.0 mg / ml (equivalent to 4.48 mg prednisolone)
- Polymyxin B sulfate 0.5293 mg / ml (equivalent to 5500 IU polymyxin B sulfate)
