SANIMED Intestinal is a full-fledged diet for dogs older than 14 weeks, designed to alleviate acute malnutrition and malabsorption of ingredients and nutrients. SANIMED Intestinal consists of easily digestible ingredients and has a reduced fat content and increased electrolyte content. Dietary products are also hypoallergenic, contain a small amount of raw fibers and include salmon oil, beta-1,3 / 1,6-glucan and zeolite.

Easily assimilated proteins and carbohydrates

SANIMED Intestinal line contains digestible proteins and carbohydrates. This facilitates the absorption of amino acids and glucose in poor digestion, promotes the regeneration of the intestinal mucosa and the removal of digestive waste from the intestine. As a result, the probability of dysbiosis and diarrhea decreases. Undigested protein reaches the large intestine, in which less toxic products of protein breakdown form. In addition, SANIMED Intestinal contains a small amount of insoluble fiber, which makes the products of this line easy to digest.

The products of this series are characterized by an increased content of sodium and potassium, which compensates for the loss of electrolytes. Dogs suffering from diarrhea lose more sodium and potassium in the form of intestinal secretions.

Additives in the form of salmon fat and beta-glucans contribute to inhibition of inflammatory bowel reactions. Salmon oil is rich in eicosapentaenoic acid, which has an anti-inflammatory effect. Beta 1,3 / 1,6-glucans are contained in the cell walls of yeast. Consumption of beta-glucans increases the immune response, which is accompanied by short-term diarrhea and less severe clinical symptoms.

Zeolite absorbs excess water in the intestinal tract and binds some toxic components, which can cause excessive discharge of water in the intestinal tract. Zeolite consists of insoluble mineral salts with high porosity, so 50% of its volume can absorb water.
