Uses / Indications
Tears Naturale II is indicated for:
- Dry eye syndrome (keratoconjunctivitis sicca)
- Environmental irritants (e.g. dust, wind, air conditioning)
- Post-operative ocular hydration
- Supportive care in chronic eye conditions
- Lubrication before or after ophthalmic procedures
Dosage
- Typical dosage: 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) 2–4 times daily
- May be used more frequently based on veterinary advice
- Administer by gently pulling down the lower eyelid and instilling drops without touching the eye
- Shake gently before use if instructed
Possible Side Effects
- Mild transient stinging or blurred vision
- Rare: Allergic reactions (e.g. redness, swelling, itching)
- No systemic side effects due to topical, non-pharmacological nature
Drug & Food Interactions
- No known food interactions
- Compatible with most topical ophthalmic medications
- If used alongside medicated eye drops, allow 5–10 minutes between applications
Precautions
- For external ophthalmic use only
- Do not use if solution changes color or becomes cloudy
- Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye
- Store at room temperature (15–25°C)
- Discard 28 days after opening
